Bacchus (Flanders Oud Sour)
From the Brouwerij Van Honsenbrouck in Belgium, this little bottle (12.7 oz) reminded me a lot of Strubbe’s Flemish Red. Big cherries and vinegar, decent head that dies quickly, a low ABV (4.5%) moderately priced (for a sour at least) at about $9, and not too sour. A decent intro to the style for those not ready to dive into Lambics or Sours head (mouth?) first.
I’d drink it again, but would pass on purchasing it for that price again.
