Kelley Schranz Interview

How cool is this?!?  I finally got to interview Kelley Schranz–my mom–on the show!

I get to ask her about starting running later in life (she never ran before her mid 40s), and what it’s like doing track workouts and weight training at 65. We chat a lot about beer, how she stays healthy, where she likes to run, what it’s like to constantly wife my dad, and how she ended up wiping out during her first trail race this past weekend.

We also talk about my recent race at Folsom Lake Ultra Trail, what I thought about the race, and what advice I have for people who are considering racing a 110k ultra on 15 miles/week of inconsistent training.
