Why does Oprah get to have all the fun?

Hal uses one, Anton uses one, Badwater winner Harvey Lewis uses one, and hey, I use one too! As a big thank you to those who’ve helped out the site, I picked three contributors’ names at random from the last two months and am sending them my favorite water bottle. I’ve been using the Simple Hydration bottle for a few years, love it, and hope you will too.

Nice gesture Eric. I too use and like the simple hydration bottle but on longer runs it will give me chafing. Tightening the waistband on the shorts helps but with sweat and a little bit of motion I can’t seem to prevent it. So my question is, where do most people tuck it, and do you use body glide or something else with it?

  I stick it in the back of my shorts. On longer runs I’ve had some success preventing chaffing by putting athletic or kensio tape on my backside where the bottle comes in contact.
