Ryan Kaiser won the competitive Waldo 100k this past weekend, two months after showing a strong 11th place at his first time at Western States, and that’s about all I knew about him before asking him to come on. It turned out to be a good decision.
We chatted with Ryan about his training, what it’s like being named “Ryan”, race strategy, life balance (he’s an attorney with an infant), and where he finds extra energy on the trails. This guy’s got it together and I’m anxious to see how he races in the future.
