We had a really good discussion on Twitter this week about how or if the “spark” of ultrarunning has dimmed in the past decade. Is it just a case of “old timers’ syndrome”, or are there objective factors that have changed the landscape?
Two part question.
Does it feel like the *spark* of ultra trail running is not as bright as it was ten years ago? Not as interesting and/or dynamic?
