Science! Apparently we’re scientific and social weirdos. Much better than the general population at some things, while we’re outcasts when it comes to some emotional issues. Sounds about right.

Want to be healthy and help stave off the virus? Eat better. From the NYT today: “Only 12 percent of Americans are without high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes or pre-diabetes…The statistics are horrifying, but unlike Covid they happened gradually enough that people just shrugged their shoulders. However, beyond age, these are the biggest risk factors for illness and death from Covid-19.”

Before you give up on your local gear shop, check and see if they’re participating in a cool revenue-sharing program like this. Great idea!
