Ultramarathon Daily News, Thurs, June 11

Ah, the age-old question: What’s harder on the body, a trail ultramarathon or a road marathon?

Want a sneak peek at the official Western States program?

Here’s a fun Q&A with someone who’s inspired me to take on more microadventures.

WaPo does a decent job describing prep for an ultramarathon, with input from Mike Wardian and a doctor named Lager.

Anton may not be running right now, but he’s putting in some serious time on the bike.

Yikes! She chose a tough 100 as her comeback ultramarathon after surviving pancreatic cancer.  And, ahem, finished second!
