Ultramarathon Daily News | Thurs, Nov 21

This is exactly the perspective I needed this morning: Brendan writes about choosing our perspective and focusing on the beauty of what’s in front of us. Read it.

YouTube: Fascinating documentary about a runner who overcame a lot to become a pioneer in women’s running…Anne Audain’s story about middle and long distance running in NZ in the 1980s, her struggles with amateurism (vs pro money), and one major race that capped it all off.

Hour long report/documentary on this year’s Tor des Geants. Incredible footage!

Altra sent me a pair of Provision 4.0’s, and I gotta say, I was a bit confused. Are they walking shoes? Casual shoes? I wasn’t familiar with the model, but I’ve worn them a half dozen times on runs and I’m pretty happy. Very stable, even compared to other Altras. Great for weekday runs on decomposed granite, bike paths, etc. More later.

RedBull: Best action/adventure photography of 2019.

Very short news day. What’d I miss?
