Ultrarunning: Olivia Amber is a Nordic skiing convert and has already tested her mettle at some big MUT races. She’s not done, and has her gaze set on some big records in the coming years.

Doping: Five hundred athletes from every continent, participating in myriad sports spanning both summer and winter games, and competing at levels ranging from “part time pro” to fully sponsored athlete, answer questions about national doping controls versus international controls. Very interesting.

SCMP: Spartan’s move into the trail running world. Yawn.

I work at an elementary school and hearing the kids talk about corona virus is virtually indistinguishable from what I read online. Lots of “experts” and rumors flying around. Anyhow, I found this Joe Rogan podcast with an actual ID specialist speaking in plain terms was very informative, calm, and eye opening. Check it out and judge for yourself.

Speaking of Corona, Kenya has banned international travel for all athletes for the near future. Kipchoge’s London run probably won’t happen.

ITI Update: Lots of well-earned resting going on.

I’m working on a piece about athlete salaries, NDAs, and helping new pro athletes determine their value. If you’ve got expertise or experience (agents, sponsors, athletes) and want to talk on or off the record, please shoot me an email. Thanks.

Short news day. What did I miss?
