This crazy Canadian just set the WR for 24 hours on a treadmill. Wanna guess how many miles he ran? URP doesn’t do metric.

No ultra content:  Yeah, I don’t think I want to be on this guy’s team.  Seems a bit nuts.

If you’re new to trail running, this piece on trail orientation will help you out with the jargon of finding and navigating trails.

The 33-year-old has 96 marathon and ultra-marathon wins to his credit, one of which was the 2015 Trans America Foot Race. He ran the equivalent of 476 marathons in 420 days (370 marathons and ultras in one year), and he holds the record for most miles run without sleep – 373.75 in just over 88 hours.

That guy is on pace to break the trans-con record.  Pretty decent running stats, eh?

Jade and I each reviewed the Hoka Clayton right here. I loved the Clifton and found it very similar. Jade didn’t.

Short news day today. Prepping for two new URP interviews: One with the only person (that I know of) to be DQed from Western States, and one with a mid packer from Iowa who just ran his sixth hundred over the weekend.
