Same narrow toe box bummer.
where’s the wide version. Hoka is missing allot of runners not having a wider version….IMHO

    Yes the Topo looks good. It will have Vibram XS-Trek compound which wears better than MegaGrip but is not as sticky. Here in New England I want sticky.

  Good question Ben. Yes, I can confirm there is an additional layer of mesh connected on both sides inside the shoe to act as a gusset. This is undoubtedly contributing to the weight gain we are seeing.

The 2 would be my perfect shoe if I had only 3 toes on each foot. Hoka really didn’t add toe room to the 3? Many other Hoka lines have been getting better about toe room. *sigh* Huge missed opportunity, Hoka.

Guess I’m glad I have average/narrowish feet. The SG2 isn’t a roomy fit, but it’s fine for me. Happy the update is minor (though that gusset sounds nice) so when the 2s finally go on sale I can snatch those up!
